Skeletons
Adoration
We crawl on our knees
for wrongful answers
Kept on our leash
Controlled
Condemnation
We followed your lead
But the end times
The end times await
The end times, the end times
They wait, they wait, they wait
for you and me
Chorus:
We could have had it all, it all
But we sold our good fate
and imposed their ill grace
When they burn us all
Say, “They chose the best way
Come behold our best days”
I was misguided by your pain
I don’t need redemption
I don’t need your grace
No one could save me from their reign
I don’t need ascension
Nor your condescension
I won’t be guided by your pain
I don’t seek redemption
I don’t seek your grace
No one will save me from their reign
I don’t need ascension
I will meet my fate
Domination
With blood on our knees
To keep them happy
We pull our own leash
But the end times
The end times await
The end times, the end times
They wait, they wait, they wait
for you and me
Masterful production - deep, slow enough and a feast for your headphones. Inspiring arrangements and soul-searching vocal performances from a vast array of styles and voices. It's a mega-album, a world of its own. Up there with all the greats of the symph-prog genre. I just can't have enough of it. I like the balance between drama and calmness - always keeps you on your toes, gasping for more peaks and highs. Bordering on perfection - almost the best thing ever done in the progressive world. One of my favorite Progressive albums of the year by far. It has the appropiate mix of mistery, complexity and surprise I expect of this kind of albums. With some gospel, saxo and flute passages giving a theatrical touch. Fantastic. josich
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
The Philly trio have been making technical but not impenetrable instrumental metal for nearly two decades. Their latest shreds, of course. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 8, 2016
